About the speaker

Jim ChapmanJim Chapman started his coin-operated amusement career in 1987. During these 23 years, he has worked in all levels of the coin-operated amusement industry - manufacturing, distribution and operations. Jim’s experience includes the development of both video and redemption games, as well as owning a street route made up of cranes and bulk vending for the past eleven years.

Currently, Jim is responsible for the sales and marketing of Family Fun Companies’ redemption line of games and spends quite a bit of time in one of the three family fun parks owned by J. Richard Oltmann in the Chicago area. Over the past three and a half years, Jim has given over 40 redemption seminars across the country sharing the “Magic Potion” that helped increase the sales of Enchanted Castle from $1.7 million to $5.8 million in just five years. These seminars have been held at Enchanted Castle, industry trade shows, operators’ locations and distributors’ offices throughout the United States.
